BlackBurn - Sundaysun (25g) — hookah tobacco with a citrus profile
BlackBurn - Sundaysun (25g) is aromatic hookah tobacco built around a rich, fresh summer citrus cocktail of lemon, orange and grapefruit. Lemon brings a bright, lively tartness, orange rounds the blend with a warmer and more sunlit fruit note, while grapefruit adds its recognizable light bitterness.
The 25g pack is a convenient size for trying the profile, enjoying it on its own or using it for small, carefully balanced mixes.

Flavour profile
At the start of a session, BlackBurn - Sundaysun (25g) can present its lemon side first, creating an energetic and refreshing impression. As the bowl develops, orange adds a softer, gently sweet citrus tone that connects the sharper edges of the profile. Grapefruit completes the combination with mild bitterness and a subtle dry edge.
Mixing ideas
- Sweeter citrus: pairing it with an orange or mandarin flavour may emphasize the softer, sunny side of the profile and make the overall impression rounder.
- Fresh fruit pairing: a berry flavour can create contrast between juicy berry character and citrus tartness. Add it gradually so the lemon and grapefruit remain recognizable.
- Citrus with mint: a mint component may heighten the refreshing sensation and reinforce the cocktail-like direction. This is an idea for personal experimentation, not a manufacturer-stated recipe.
For any mix, start with a small test portion.
Packing, heat and storage
- Stir the tobacco in the tin so the syrup is evenly spread.
- Pack the bowl loosely and leave a gap to the foil or heat device.
- Start with moderate charcoal and heat the bowl gradually.
- If it turns bitter or harsh, remove some charcoal and let the bowl cool.
- Store sealed, away from direct sun and heat.
