Flavour profile
The opening note is a sweet corn-stick flavour with a distinctly crunchy confectionery association. It is more than straightforward sugar: there is also a lightly cereal-like character that gives the profile definition and keeps it from feeling one-dimensional. This corn base remains easy to recognise throughout the session.
Mixing ideas
- Solo: lets you follow the original progression from sweet crunchy corn sticks to airy marshmallow and a creamy meringue finish.
- With creamy flavours: can make the dessert character fuller and emphasise the meringue side. Add the partner gradually so the blend does not become overly heavy.
- With gentle fruit: may wrap a fruit base in a sweeter confectionery layer. Less tart fruit profiles are a sensible starting point because they leave room for the marshmallow.
- With light freshness: a small fresh accent can balance the sweetness. Strong mint or intense cooling may cover the delicate meringue, so use it carefully.
These are ideas for personal experimentation, not recipes presented as manufacturer recommendations.
